There and Back Again. A Tow Truck Operator’s Tale
A truck and trailer travelling through Idaho ran into some transmission trouble. They had no choice but to safely pull into a Flying J Truck Center and call for help. Because they were close to the Washington border, they called Pro-Tow by FleetEasy in Spokane for assistance.
Because the trailer was fully loaded, we decided to detach the tractor and tow it separately. Our tow truck operator delivered the tractor to our secured yard in Spokane and went back for the trailer. Then he brought that back to Spokane before clearing the call.
The trip was roughly 30 minutes each way, so, in a few hours and four state line crossings later, we had the job done. The truck and trailer were safe and secure, and the operator could schedule the repairs the tractor needed.
