We respond to many emergency mobile fleet repairs and recovery jobs, but not all are catastrophic accidents. Sometimes, a driver gets into a tricky situation and just needs a little help. FleetEasy offers complete fleet roadside assistance services for those situations, including fuel delivery, tire service, battery service, lockouts and minor fleet repairs.

In this incident, a Kenworth T660 ran out of fuel in Tacoma, WA, heading Northbound on the I-5 near exit 124.

Fuel Delivery

Fuel Delivery to the Rescue

Once our dispatch received the call, we sent a mobile roadside assistance unit to pick up fuel. The customer said they needed 20 gallons of diesel to reach the next service station. We had a 10-gallon can in the unit, and needed to pick up another 10 gallons.

We called the customer with our ETA and headed to their location. Unfortunately, we didn’t see them at exit 125, where they were reported to be, but we soon located them under the overpass at exit 124.

Our operator filled up the tank with 20 gallons of diesel. The driver made sure the truck started and was on his way. While the incident was inconvenient, we made sure to deliver the fuel as quickly as possible so the driver could get on his way.

Count on Fast and Reliable Response

For fleet managers, even a small delay can have a ripple effect. Missed delivery windows and vehicle downtime can add up to and increase operational costs and headaches for your business. That is why FleetEasy focuses on rapid response and clear communication from the moment a call comes in.

When drivers contact our dispatch, they speak with a real person who understands fleet operations. We gather the details, confirm the location, and dispatch the appropriate roadside assistance unit right away. Throughout the call, we keep the driver and fleet informed so there are no surprises.

Preventing Minor Issues from Becoming Big Problems

Many roadside situations start small but can turn into larger, more expensive problems if they are not handled properly. A dead battery can lead to missed appointments. A flat tire can damage a wheel if driven on too long. Running out of fuel can introduce air into the system and create additional headaches.

FleetEasy’s roadside assistance services are designed to stop those issues early. By addressing problems on the spot when possible, we help protect vehicles, reduce downtime, and keep drivers moving safely.

If a repair cannot be completed roadside, our team can coordinate towing, recovery, or follow-up service through the FleetEasy Company of Family. FleetEasy provides dependable fleet roadside assistance across Washington and the Pacific Northwest. When fleets need help, they know they can call one number and get real support from people who understand the business.
